MoU between UMT and International Islamic University Malaysia

The signing ceremony between Institute of Islamic Banking (IIB), UMT and International Islamic university Malaysia (IIUM) was held on 30th August, 2017 in RS Executive boardroom at 11:30 AM. Dean IIB, Dr Ruksana Kaleem invited honorable Rector Dr M. Alsam as chief guest at the MOU signing ceremony. All the faculty members and staff of IIB and Mr Asif, principal secretary from Rector Secretariat were present on this occasion. International Islamic University (IIUM) is one of the leading public sector universities in Malaysia with large number of student body. The MOU with IIUM will commit us to work together more closely towards common goal. Each side will pursue many significant activities, such as the promotion of educational and academic exchange between universities, the promotion of collaborative research, conferences and exchange of faculty, students. IIUM and IIB will also join hands to conduct 3rd Global Forum 2018 in February in Lahore, which will be conducted with pre and post workshops as well. Dr Aslam signed the MOU and said that at this moment I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone whose dedication and efforts have contributed to the finalization of this MOU. In closing, he said that I am confident that through our efforts and commitment, we will be able to achieve more and to be able to continue to develop even stronger relationships and friendships between the Faculty of IIUM and UMT.
