Rector UMT Dr Muhammad Aslam Holds Meeting with Office of Information Systems (OIS)

The meeting with the Office of Information System (OIS) was held on July 12, 2017 in the RS executive boardroom under the Chairmanship of Dr Muhammad Aslam, Rector UMT. OIS team led by Ahmad Abdullah, Director Planning and Development, introduced himself and his team followed by formal presentation on the core functions of OIS. The presentation covered important aspects of OIS including Mission statement, organogram, core functions, current activities, and future plans. Usman Nagi and Ahmer also shared some features of Microsoft Dynamics adopted for ERP. Detailed briefing on various modules of Microsoft Dynamics such as AX, CRM and Online portal were also given to the Rector. Director PnD also referred to 80 important requirements being incorporated in the system phase wise. The Rector before giving his concluding remarks emphasized on implementing ERP in robust form, compatible with user requirements, and free from any bugs/malfunctioning. Afterwards, Zubda who was present in this meeting also invited the vendor who was developing online admissions form. The Rector critically reviewed the functionality of the admissions form and advised Head OIA to make it online for the users at earliest possible time.
