IBCE 2017 Soft Opening Ceremony

IBCE secretariat organized a one day Soft Opening ceremony of IBCE 2017 on March 14, 2017 (Tuesday) in DG Office UMT. The aim of this ceremony was to generate an awareness of the significance of this event among stakeholders. On this occasion DG UMT Abid Khan Shirwani said that, to assist the government in achieving the goal of economic development and growth, the University of Management and Technology took the initiative of organizing IBCE. The university aims to create strategic linkages between Business, Academia, and Government that would have a multiplier effect on trade and economic development in Pakistan. The UMT management’s vision is to provide a platform to students and the youth for global business networking, technology transfer, trade promotion, with a strong infusion of educational thrust. In its final effect, the effort is likely to facilitate the socio-economic and technological change the government wants to bring. Honorable guests of the event Mr. Anis Iqbal Chaudhry Chairman TUMSIAD Turkey and Mr. TanveerSidduiqi MD Albayrak said, the initiative taken by UMT would contribute in economic empowermentof Pakistan and in coming years, this would become a platform for business transformation.
