Meeting on Child Rights Movement

A delegate of Child Rights Movement, Punjab chapter visited Dean School of Social Sciences and Humanities, UMT to discuss collaborative initiatives for the promotion of child rights. Child Rights Movement is a network of like minded individuals and civil society organizations which are striving for the promotion of child rights in Pakistan. Prof. Dr. Abdul Hameed (Dean, SSS&H-UMT) warmly welcomed the delegate, Mr. Sajid Masood (Chairman, Department of Education, SSS&H) and team of department of Sociology also joined in the meeting. School of Social Sciences and humanities, UMT will organize an inter-university debate and poster competition in collaboration with CRM, Punjab to highlight the issues of children in Pakistan and role of stake holders, this event will be a fruitful activity to draw the attention of youth regarding child rights.
