First practical media class inaugurated

The department of Media and Communication has started fully fledged media practical classes and final project recordings inside and outside the campus. The department has acquired complete media production equipment which will fulfill the needs of different student’s projects and practical class session during their media courses.
Abid H K Shirwani, Director General, UMT, inaugurated media workshop classes and Dean SSS&H Dr Abdul Hameed were also present on this occasion.
Rashid Khan, Assistant Professor & Supervisor thanked the worthy GD UMT Abid HK Shirwani and Dean SSS&H, Dr Abdul Hameed for coming on short notice to inaugurate the media practical classes and for their efforts in providing professional media equipment.
Abid HK Shirwani DG UMT addressed the participant of media workshop to take special interest in learning media arts to fulfill the needs of Pakistani Media Industry. He said that he is very happy to see students learning media arts practically, through professional media equipment provided by the department for the training of current students. Talking to the students, he said that it is our commitment that UMT will provide state of the art Media Studio Lab very shortly.
Dean SSS&H Dr Abdul Hameed congratulated the students on having such wonderful professional media equipment and for their patience and acknowledged the efforts done by Mr. Rashid Khan, Assistant Professor DMC for acquiring equipments. He said we are always available to the students for guidance and help.
