School of Governance and Society organizes CSS seminar at UMT
December 16, 2013
 
The School of Governance and Society (SGS) organized a “CSS Seminar” on December 16, 2013 at the UMT campus. Around 50 students from Punjab University, FC College, Government College and UMT itself participated. The speakers and presenters included Shahid Hussain Raja, former Federal Secretary, Sohail Ahmad, Former Federal Secretary, and Director, Partnership and Alliances, UMT, Sarmad Saeed, Additional IG Police, Punjab, and Sameera Yasin, Director General Training, Inland Revenue Department, Government of the Punjab.

All the four presenters made comprehensive presentations on how the CSS examination should be approached. The presentations were followed by question and answer sessions and students demonstrated considerable interest in the subject. At the end, all participants were served light refreshments.

Several faculty members from other UMT departments also attended the seminar, including a few external guests.
