UMT Book Fair 2013

More than 20 leading publishers set up their stalls at the campus of the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore, to participate in the 3-day book fair at the university campus. The Book Fair was inaugurated by Rector UMT Dr Hasan Sohaib Murad. Chief Library Officer Muhammad Rafiq Awan and other high ranking UMT officials were also present on the occasion.
Leading publishers including Allied, Multiline, Liberty Books, Dogar Publishers, Readings, Ilm-o-Irfan, Sang-e-Meel Publishers, Pak Books, etc. were represented at the Book Fair. A wide variety of books ranging from textbooks, engineering books to English Literature, history, current affairs, fiction, Urdu Literature and children’s books were on display.
The Book fair was thronged by students, faculty members and visitors who browsed through the collections and purchased books of their interest.
It is worth mentioning that the UMT Book fair is being organized by the UMT Learning Resource Center from November 5-7, 2013 and Pearson Education is the learning partner.
