IEEE-UMT attends Annual General Meeting at GCU

The IEEE-UMT core team led by Bilal Sheikh attended the Annual General Meeting held at GC University on December 20, 2011 and presented an opportunity for interaction and exchange of information with fellow members. The IEEE Lahore Section annual report was presented by the Chairman Dr Shafay Shamail. Bilal Sheikh, Chair IEEE-UMT, presented annual report 2010-11 to IEEE Lahore Section. He presented a summary of the events, activities and achievements of IEEE-UMT over the past year. He also highlighted some activities planned for the future such as workshops and seminars. Dr Tanveer Ul Haq, Senior Member IEEE and Vice-President Wi-tribe, also spoke on this occasion. Certificates were awarded to IEEE-UMT core team. The recipients included Bilal Sheikh, Chair IEEE-UMT, Aqeel Tariq, Vice-Chair IEEE-UMT, Izan Shahid, General Secretary, Ahsan Mansoor Gillani, Treasurer, and Hareem Khan, Patron IEEE-UMT WIE. The meeting concluded with annual dinner hosted by the Lahore Section.
